Like Father Like Son


A couple of weeks ago, when I was going through some "stuff", I found some old pictures of Tom when he was a kid. I just smiled and stared at them for the longest time. Everyone always tells me how much Cade looks like Tom, but I can REALLY see it when I compare them in pictures.

Twinkle Twinkle...

I love the things Cade learns at school. Cade attends a great school. They do claim to be "The Leader in Educational Childcare." He has learned sign language for early expressive language development. I can't believe they start that young! He can do the sign for "more", "all done", "milk" and of course the infamous "twinkle twinkle". He has also learned to blow kisses. That is my favorite! I love this age. Cade is a whirlwind of activity and curiosity. He touches and grabs everything in sight. He is a sponge - absorbing everything around him. He is also daring. He will feed the dogs his food from his high chair. We tell him "No". He does it again. We tell him "No" again. He now looks us straight in the eye - smirks - and does it again. He loves to test us. I have to turn my head so he does not see me laugh. He's a stinker, but he makes every single day an adventure.

And he has also discovered Peanut Butter. I need to get some video of his reaction when he sees the Peanut Butter jar come out of the pantry. His legs start kicking and he starts screaming in excitement. He LOVES it! We may need to buy some stock in "Peter Pan" Peanut Butter.
